Her performance is scheduled before the Special Gala show of "Higit Sa Pagibig, The Musical" at the USI Auditorium. This event is presented by Siklab Lingkod Bikol (SLB) and LEARNr Corporation

Unveiling "Higit Sa Pagibig, The Musical"

Higit sa Pagibig, The Musical, hailed to be the biggest cultural event of the year in Naga City. The event serves as a fundraiser that will support the disaster-resilient Library-in-a-Box project for Leon Mercado High School in Pacol, Naga City, the Young Leaders Program of Siklab Lingkod Bikol (SLB), and the Marhay Na GIBO (MNG) Bamboo Industry Development Initiative.

A Glimpse into "Higit Sa Pagibig"

The musical invites audiences to immerse themselves in the fictional Barangay Eskwala, a community reflecting the real-life struggles of vulnerable Filipinos. Through a rich tapestry of moving performances, the musical weaves together heartfelt hopes and stories, instilling a sense of patriotism, community, and hope.

An All-Bicolano cast of 15 members, supported by a passionate production team, brings authenticity and flair to the production. The musical's score features 18-original compositions by emerging Bikolano artists, including hits from the award-winning Bikolano Singer & Songwriter dwta, Rahuyó, Al Jang, and more.

Produced by the Dawani Project, the music promises to be a symphony of emotions, enhancing the overall impact of the powerful storytelling.

Known for her renowned compositions such as "Padaba Taka," "Santigwar," and her recent single 'Delikado,' dwta has contributed to the musical by writing one of its songs, adding her touch to the already impressive lineup. dwta's participation elevates the musical to new heights

Bigg's Diner at Robinsons Place Naga

Naga City - One of the Best of Bicol brands, Bigg's Diner has opened their 16th branch at the newest mall at the Heart of Bicol, Robinsons Place Naga.

Though this may be the 16th branch, I really miss the old Advent Branch and the branch at the second floor of the now South Star Drug along Gen. Luna Street. Talking about memories, restaurants become memorable because of the place itself. When you also have friends, relatives and batchmates coming home for a vacation in Naga, "Bigg's parin ang hinahanap hinahanap" when it comes to local restaurants. Even though I have been featuring many new concepts and new restaurants here on my blog, I usually ask them, "Why still Bigg's?". My friends and relatives can't give me a definite answer as to why, but I guess our palates will always look for the local flavors of home, the memories with our barkadas during lunch/night outs and the likes is irreplaceable. There might be other personal answers as to why we go back to our local favorites, it's like, "basta, hirap explain, basta Bigg's parin".

I'm sure you also have your Bigg's Diner favorites and even I have the tendency to order the same kind of food every single time I dine at Bigg's. My usual? Cordon Bleu, been addicted to their Beef Salpicao lately or perhaps the Tenderloin Tips, Goto, or Bigg Deal and yes Cordon Bleu again haha.

 This area at the back is a perfect place for  foodies and oh even your selfies will look great because of the natural lighting. During noon don't you worry because there are blinds that you can pull down to at least lessen the humidity. Hello climate change!

Olivan Home Depot, Your Home, Your Style

I was looking for a flat bar and decided to go around hardwares here in Naga. Below are photos of Olivan Home Depot which I was so much amazed of! Why? For or a long time this homegrown brand has been serving many Bicolanos for home construction and improvement needs and dai ko akalaon na dakulaon palan ang depot ninda located sa Magsaysay at the back of Sea Oil with enough parking space pa.

After their store beside Sea Oil was razed by FIRE few years ago, sa totoo lang dai ko hunaon na nasa likod na palan sinda and this time even more organized, presentable, not to mention comfortable din because its air-conditioned.

Changing times indeed and being an adult now brings me to these places and I'm glad that the depot's staff were very patient and accommodating hehe.

I really admire our Bicol Brands improving for the better and it is a must for us Bicolanos to patronize them. My post doesn't end here, will share more about my experience in this depot in the next days to come. For the meantime, below are contact details that you might find helpful.

An online magazine is coursed to set sail in the world wide web to cover Bicol Art x Fashion. Bicolanos never run out of talents to showcase to the whole country and to the whole world. Since the online social media is now one of our major sources of information, a magazine was diligently created by a new generation of Bicolano artists. 
Agora, a Greek word in origin "ageirein" meaning to gather is the name of the magazine that we will be able to experience online to further strengthen our love for art and Bicolano culture. This 'gathering' will not only captivate a worldwide audience but will surely entice the eyes of aspiring Bicolano artists. 

       Agora Magazine is a non-profit online magazine dedicated to become a platform for up-and-coming Bikolano artists in the fields of Photography, Fashion, Beauty, Music, Literature, Film, Visual Arts such as Painting and Illustration, Theatre, Industrial and Interior Design and other fields of creativity.

​Founded in the first quarter of 2014, Agora Magazine was formed with the desire to showcase the best of Bikol and cultivate a sense of panache and a forward-thinking taste among homegrown talents with a local and global audience. It’s a hip market place for what’s new and who’s who in the local scene, what talent is there to discover, what ideas to unearth.
