#NCDFoodtrip: Jungle Brew Dayangdang

 #NCDfoodtrip It took me a while to visit Jungle Brew in Dayangdang and I am just this happy and excited because I’m sharing this post, same day of my visit. Jungle Brew is located at 26 J. Soler St former SOLID st, Dayangdang Naga City. Open from 11AM - 9PM from Tuesdays to Sundays.

𝓒𝓪𝓵𝓶𝓲𝓷𝓰, 𝓯𝓵𝓪𝓿𝓸𝓻𝓯𝓾𝓵 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓱𝓸𝓶𝓮𝔂. A mix of old and new. From the old house converted into an 𝙖𝙡 𝙛𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙘𝙤 𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 restaurant, it has this calming effect on me plus to mention, every 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐚 would certainly enjoy the varieties of plants in the garden. And hey the place actually looks good at night.

If there are such things as fairies and genies, Jungle Brew has also something “𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙮 𝙞𝙣 𝙖 𝘽𝙤𝙩𝙩𝙡𝙚”. What am I talking about? To add to this 𝘾𝙖𝙡𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙤𝙧 is the 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐰𝐞𝐝 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐞𝐚 𝐁𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬 Artea-Craftwhich I reallllly realllly love and you can only get this here at Jungle Brew. Non-caffeine, non-laxative, all natural color and sweetener in a pretty glass Tea Pot ready to be shared. Every flavor has it’s unique benefits and you can have a refill of hot water until taste lasts. 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹!What we had is the 𝙂𝙡𝙖𝙢𝙤-𝙍𝙤𝙨𝙚. Everything is just so pretty! Food is just flavorful and there’s a distinct taste to which you can say that it’s from Jungle Brew.

On the 𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐮 are, but I heard a new menu will be out soon:

Platters (Grilled Rosemary Liempo, Sweet Chili Glazed Chicken and Buffalo Chicken)

The favorite of many, as I have heard, are the 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐁𝐎 𝐌𝐄𝐀𝐋𝐒 like the Pizza, pasta and chicken in one and just add P100 for the In-House Tea. I guess at an average it’s good for 2-3 persons or just a little over 4. Pizza plus the In-House Tea is also another combo to choose from.

Fruit teas and milk tea are also available.

They accept private bookings and intimate gatherings too.

It was a calming Sunday at Jungle Brew. BIG THANKS to my Jungle Brew friends!! Excited for my next visit to try the other house blend tea with friends, my officemates will surely love this!

Kabuhayan Loan ng BDO Network Bank, katulong sa pag-asenso ng MSMEs, Overseas Filipinos at kanilang pamilya

Isinagawa ng BDO Network Bank (BDONB) ang kanilang Go Negosyo talk show na pinamagatang ““Kayang-kaya Kabayan” nitong Biyernes, June 4 (Watch HERE). Layunin ng talk show na magbahagi ng financial management tips at valuable insights pagdating sa mga sustainable at adaptable business opportunities hindi lamang para sa mga local Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), kundi pati na rin sa mga Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) at kanilang mga beneficiaries.

Pinangunahan ni SME Advocate Josie Conlu ang talakayan tungkol iba’t-ibang financial challenges na kinakaharap ng ating mga OFWs abroad. Nagbahagi rin siya ng mga opportunities na maari nilang subukan pagkatapos nitong pandemya.

Naroon din si Randell Tiongson, isang registered financial planner and advocate ng Life & Personal Finance, na nagbahagi ng preparedness at adaptability tips kung paano ba i-manage ang income at kung papaano mag-impok para sa emergency funds. Kabilang dito ang pag-shift sa mga essential business, paggamit ng online platforms, at pagdagdag ng stocks.

Napag-usapan din ang importansya ng MSMEs sa pagpapalago ng lokal at nasiyonal na ekonomiya.

 “Ang pag-unlad ng Pilipinas ay nakasalalay sa pagsulong ng mga MSMEs. Sa paglago ng mga MSMEs, gaganda ang kinabukasan nila at ng kanilang pamilya. Dahil dito, tinatawag na “growth engine” ng ekonomiya ang mga MSMEs,” ani BDONB Senior Vice President and MSME Group Head Karen Cua.

Dagdag pa niya, ang mga MSMEs ay ang nagpapatakbo ng ekonomiya ng ating mga komunidad dahil nakapagbibigay ito ng trabaho, mga produkto, at mga serbisyong kailangan sa pang araw-araw.

Ayon sa  data ng Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, ang MSMEs ay isang kritikal na sector ng ating bansa dahil they account for 99.5% ng business enterprises, 62.4% ng total employment, at 35.7% ng gross value added. Maliban dito, sila rin ay nagsisilbing valuable partners at suppliers ng mga malalaking enterprise.

Kaya’t patuloy na sinusuportahan ng BDONB ang mga MSMEs upang mapanatili at mapalago ang kanilang operasyon sa gitna ng pandemya.

Ang dating OF na si Ernesto Abad, isang electrician na nagtrabaho sa Saudi Arabia, ay nagbahagi ng kanyang kwento kung paano nakatulong ang BDONB at ang Kabuhayan Loan sa kanyang pamilya at sa kanilang negosyo lalo na ngayong pandemya.

“Dahil sa sitwasyon ng lockdown, ang buwanang padala ng asawa ko na nasa abroad ay natigil, kaya’t napakaganda ng pag-alok sa akin ng BDO [Network Bank] upang maipagpatuloy ko ‘yung aking negosyo kahit sa panahon ng pandemic,” ani Abad.

Ang Kabuhayan Loan ay mayroong mabilis at simpleng application process para sa pagpapa-utang sa mga negosyante ng mula P30,000 hanggang P1,000,000 na hindi nangangailangan ng collateral. May installment options ito na 12 months hanggang 24 months, depende sa kakayahan ng isang borrower magbayad. Meron din itong kaakibat na Credit Life Insurance na nagsisilbing proteksyon ng pamilya laban sa financial burden.

Ang BDO Kabuhayan loan ay available sa lahat ng BDONB branches (see list below). Para ma-qualify sa loan, ang borrower ay dapat mayroon existing na negosyo for at least three years at nagge-generate ito ng weekly sales na di bababa sa P15,000. Review: Honda BR-V and Honda Mobilio

Drove the Honda BR-V and Mobilio the other week and they are literally like non identical twins on the road in terms of what’s under the hood and performance. Here’s a quick comparison with the two. #NCDdailyDrives 🚘🚗

Both, a 7-seater crossover SUV with a 1.5-liter gasoline engine, same power, torque and fuel capacity (42 liters) with CVT.🛣

𝑬𝑿𝑻𝑬𝑹𝑰𝑶𝑹

BR-V looks sporty with a higher ground clearance 201mm that is. R16 tires

Mobilio - pegged as a mini wagon, very family oriented :D, lower ground clearance as compared to BR-V, 189mm, R15 tires.

𝑰𝑵𝑻𝑬𝑹𝑰𝑶𝑹

Very identical, dashboard even looks the same. Since the BR-V has a higher ground clearance your road view will be notch higher of course. The basics on the infotainment are there with LCD screen to suit your needs. 

𝑺𝑷𝑨𝑪𝑬

Seats at the back can be folded and tumbled. Very versatile which is a basic in most crossover or compact SUVs. You can check our photos during our #BaryaNiJuan mission in Buhi and Nabua.

𝑷𝑹𝑰𝑪𝑬

A little over 1M depending on the variant. Add a few thousands for the RS or Navi (Navigation) feat too. 

𝑴𝒚 𝒕𝒂𝒌𝒆❓Based on my lifestyle and preference on the looks, I would prefer the BR-V over the Mobilio. Always remember that in getting a car, always take into consideration your 𝑩𝑼𝑫𝑮𝑬𝑻 (how high can you go), your 𝑳𝑰𝑭𝑬𝑺𝑻𝒀𝑳𝑬, what will be the most common USE (purpose) of your vehicle?

𝑫𝒓𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒆𝒙𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆❓

Since they have the same engine, the are literally identical too on the feels except that one has a higher ground clearance. Handling is fine for these two cars. 

In most instances, this Japanese brand has a higher re-sale value. And you know as they say, Honda is Honda.
