Guide to Caramoan: Island Hopping

Drop off point for island hopping is at Bical. From downtown, it's about 10 minutes travel time. Take the tricyle for only Php 20.00 per head. We had limited time to visit other islands. We were able to visit only three. There's a lot more reason to go back and go island hopping. There's a lot to explore!

Guide to Caramoan: Getting There

I will not beat around the bush, getting to Caramoan is really time consuming and will test your patience. After the long wait, all I can say is, you will have no regrets that you have reached a far flung area best kept by Camarines Sur... the Caramoan Peninsula. For Latest Update (April 2019) on how to go to Caramoan CLICK HERE

It's a long trip but let's make it short =D. NCD was in Caramoan last March 3 and 4, 2012.

From Naga City, if you're a commuter, the fastest that can take you to Sabang Port is a FilCab Van with a fare of Php 100.00 for at least 1 and a half hour or less. Terminal is right across SM City Naga. If you have a car, then you can drive to Sabang port. There's a place there where you can park your car for a few days at the port, I just don't know if there's a payment, maybe there is.

Towns that you'll be passing by: Pili, Ocampo, Tigaon, Goa, San Jose, Sabang

From Sabang Port, the transpo will now be  a water vessel aka banca. Travelling time will be approximately 2 hours depending upon the water current. Fare is Php 120.00. Enjoy the sea side trip with a lush green scenery on the left and blue waters on the right side. It's best to take the first trip which is 5:00 am, especially if you have a limited time of stay in Caramoan. Last trip going to Caramoan (but I'm not a hundred percent sure) is around 1:00 pm.

After almost 2 hours riding the waves of the sea, you'll now reach Guijalo Port,
this is the same port for the RoRo

Pay environmental fee here, P30.00

And now you have set foot to the land of Caramoan :)
