It's the Season of Lent and some of you (Catholics) are observing fasting and abstinence. Although it's only observed during Ash Wednesdays and Good Fridays there are some people who go beyond this observance and do extra sacrifices than the usual. I'm not indulging you to be gluttonous this time of the year but here are options here Naga if you will abstain from meat. Bookmark this page as we add more to this list!
Bigg's Diner Seafood Specials (Please do take note that these are regular on the menu of Bigg's and you can enjoy them anytime of the year)
The good ol' California Tuna Sandwich of Bigg's Diner

Naga City - How many homegrown coffee shops do we have in Naga? Quite a lot now. Aside from mushrooming banks, coffee shops has recently mushroomed in every nook of the city. All of these coffee shops have unique flavors and stylish interiors. Perhaps the common denominator of these coffee shops are coffee, pasta and or pastries. Prices vary across different coffee shops and serving size is always a consideration. Well, tastes will be always subjective for every customer. Let me take you to a pod like you've never seen before.
Location: In front of Tapsi Terminal along Magsaysay Avenue, Naga City.
Front door, Unit H, DSI bldg., Magsaysay Ave., Naga City
Young Blood Bicolana Entrepreneur. The Coffee Pod is owned by a 22 year old lady named Shai Bolvar. Bicolano entrepreneurs is become younger and younger these days and just look how amazing is the turnout. She loves to cook and bake for her friends and she decided to venture into her own business after establishing first Spices and Cream as their family business. Yup you read it right, Spices and Cream is their family business, The Coffee Pod is her own brand. Both the recipes from Spices and Cream and The Coffee Pod is Shai's ingenuity but they do not overlap when it comes to the kind of food. It just shows how creative she is in making her own recipes from coffee down to pastries and pasta.

Morning Person. Café Hours is from 8am to 11pm. Yey for coffeeholics looking for coffee shops in the morning.
"Instagrammable". The Coffee Pod is where your food is not just a new fad but a daily companion. The food being reasonably priced but not sacrificing the taste will keep you coming back for more. The place is simple but hip and oh so "instagrammable".
Emerging artist MarianneYvette Rodriguez Ducut, painted this huge mural on the wall of the café and other artworks that you can find in there. She is also an online social media influencer to thousands of netizens.
Happy and satisfied customers.

Now consider this, if your cafe offers board games and cards as one their service, you should be thankful, they want you to stay longer! Nice, isn't it?

The taste testing at The Coffee Pod happened to be on the day of my birthday and a Bicol Bloggers event at the same time. I could not thank everyone enough. I am truly touched by the surprise of #BicolBloggers. Thank you for the balloons, the song, The Coffee Pod Muffins Cups and the effort especially Nick Astig!! And of course Ms. Shai of the Coffee Pod because I instantly had a birthday party. Dios Mabalos!
