MISS BICOLANDIA is the oldest running beauty pageant in Bicol Region, Philippines. It is held during the Peñafrancia Festival in September in Naga City and is run by the city government. 

AN APPLICANT-CANDIDATE MUST BE:

1. At least 17 but not more than 23 years old on the date of the proclamation night;
2. At least 5’4” in height (barefoot);
3. Single, of good moral character and reputation, and has never given birth or has never been a biological mother;
4. At least 4th year High School; 
5. A Filipino citizen, a Bicolana by birth or by blood; 

IF APPLICANT IS A BICOLANA BY BLOOD, certified true copy of birth certificate of mother and/or father. A Bicolana by blood is one whose parents or either parent was born in Bicol, even if the APPLICANT-candidate is not a resident of the Bicol Region.

Applicants who were born in Bicol or have been actual residents of Bicol since birth need not submit certified true copies of their parents’ record of birth; Certificate of residency and good moral character issued by the Barangay Captain of the place of present residence indicating the inclusive dates and period (duration) of residency.

To be considered a resident, an applicant must have resided in the stated barangay for at least six (6) months. If the six-month period of residency was spent in various places, the applicant must submit a certification from every barangay she resided in.

Those who may have resided in a barangay for at least six months, regardless of whether she had resided in other places, shall submit only the certification from the barangay where she meets the 6–month period;
