The cost to sponsor one volunteer is PhP 500.00 to include: (Official MVR Shirt, Red Cross 143 ID, Whistle and Red Cross Membership with Accidental Benefits for (1) full year). All donations for the Million Volunteer Run are tax exempt per ...Republic Act No. 10072 (Red Cross Act of 2009). Your Company Name will be recognized internationally as the entire world witnesses this event. This Red Cross Million Volunteer Run is a nationwide event hosted by the different Chapters all throughout the nations. Over 100 Chapters and Sub-Chapters are expected to join this nationwide fundraising event initiated by the National Headquarters. The event will be on December 4, 2011, Assembly Time: 5:00 a.m. and Run Start at 6:00 a.m. The venue for this is at Naga Cty. We are... inviting everyone to partake and join for this historic event that the Philippine Red Cross will do inline to the celebrations of the "International Year of the Volunteer" this year.

The Objectives for this event as follows:

1. To heighten public awareness to reduce disaster risks and vulnerability of the community in the interest of saving lives

2. To build an army of 1+43 humanitarian soldiers in every barangay of the country who will respond to disasters, donate blood, and alleviate human suffering

3. To train and equip the Red Cross 143 Volunteers by way of Disaster Risk Prevention

‎MARINER'S POLYTECHNIC COLLEGES moved their way to stop the ATENEO DE NAGA UNIVERSITY VOLLEYBALL TEAM in bagging the crown! The schools tied at 1-1 in the Best of 3 Championship Series of the 1st Naga City Inter-Collegiate Volleyball Tournament. Do or die game will commence at 5:00pm this afternoon at the Naga City Coliseum..

The UNIVERSITY OF NUEVA CACERES LADY GREYHOUNDS easily swept the Championship Title in the Women's Division against CENTRAL BICOL UNIVERSITY OF AGRICULTURE.

WHO WILL BRING HOME THE BACON THIS AFTERNOON? WATCH OUT THE DO OR DIE GAME BETWEEN ADNU VOLLEYBALL GOLDEN KNIGHTS AND MPC DOLPHINS!

The Island Rock Show is a series of concerts that celebrates only the very best of independent music.

This seventh show is entitled 'The Island Rock Show 7: Alon at Agos' and will feature the Filipino rock band Alibata.

The title of the show was taken from the carrier single by Alibata, which will be part of their repertoire for that night.

'Alon at Agos' is a tagalog phrase which means "Wave & Flow". This show promotes environmental vigilance and reminds us that art does not exist in a vacuum. It should always be a reflection of the realities we face and the ways we choose to respond to them.

IRE shares in this advocacy and promotes environmental responsibility alongside artistic prowess and professionalism.

For IRS7 we move our focus to Bicol, where the music carries a little bit more bang and spice than we're used to. Watch out for some of the very best bands in Bicol that night on The Island Rock Show.

The Island Rock Show 7: Alon at Agos will happen on October 22, 2011 at Wharf Galley Rock Cafe, Naga City, in the Philippine Islands.

It is not a classroom set up so anyone who wants to see how things are done by the mentors are very much welcome to sign up.
