  • P50.00 for students (with free Santa Hat)
  • P100.00 for the general public (with free Santa Hat)  
  • and additional P100.00 for those who want to avail the T-shirt.

10th Bicol Business Week

Naga City - The Bicol Busines Week now on it's 10th year is now set on August 26 - 30, 2014 at the Jesse M. Robredo Coliseum. "The Bicol Business Week (BBW) is an annual business activity of the Metro Naga Chamber of Commerce and Industry  and the city government of Naga, in partnership with the different government and non-government organizations — Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of Science and Technology (DOST), Department of Agriculture (DA), Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR), Cooperative Development Authority (CDA),  Department of Tourism (DOT), Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Local Government Units (LGUs), Private Sector and Local Chambers of Commerce and Industry (LCCIs) in Bicol.  BBW components include trade show/exhibit (agri-aqua exhibit, consumer goods expo, real estate, tourism and wellness, real estate and construction, career and education, renewable energy, car and motor show), conference, seminars and fora, and job fair. Participants/exhibitors of BBW are local entrepreneurs from Bicol and Manila-based companies who are looking for market, business networking and product promotion. This year's theme of "Priming Bicol Winnig Asia" embraces the opportunities and obstacles of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) which will gear Region 5 to be a unified and competitive market zone scheduled to go into full effect in December 2015. The challenge to conquer international realms in terms of business will need a dynamic and international mindset from the local business men of the region.

Nicolas Beda A. Priela, MNCCI President says that the project also aims to attract national investors to go to Bicol. This year's Bicol Business Week chairperson is Amy G. Villafuerte, she is also the public information officer for television of MNCCI. Products to be showcased are Agri-Aqua, Food & Beverage, ICT, Real Estate & Tourism, Education, Engineering & Construction,Renewable Energy, Health & Wellness, Consumer Goods (garments,jewelry, handicrafts, home décor, home textiles, textile souvenir items, Car & Motorshow).

The 9th Bicol Business week is set to showcase Bicol's best that will strengthen the local industry of Naguenos and Bicolanos. While this is a yearly event hosted by the Metro Naga Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the main objective is to create even more business and economic opportunity in the whole Bicol region.

This year's logo of the BBW is a re-branding with the solohiya (weave patterns) dominantly expressed intertwining and can symbolically represent the different business sectors from the different provinces in general. It is but more than a theme but a movement.
