26th Anniversary Procession of the Black Nazarene


Naga City - Now on its 26th year, the Holy Cross Parish in Tabuco commemorates the Quiapo Fiesta thru solemn novena and masses in honor of the Black Nazarene. From January 1 to 8 is Novena Perdon every 3:00 pm and a mass at 5:30 pm. On the feast day, January 9, there will be three masses at 6:00 am, 8:00am and 3:00 pm. The preacher and main celebrant of the 5:30 pm mass prior to the procession will be the Archbishop of Caceres, Most. Rev. Rolando Octavus Joven Tria Tirona. The procession will be around the main thoroughfares Naga with the replica of the Black Nazarene.

As part of the commemoration of the feast day, Iriga City's St. Anthony de Padua Parish also joins Quiapo through a procession which will start at 6:00 pm. -- by nagacitydeck

Feast of Black Nazarene in Naga City on its 25th Year


Black Nazarene devotees flock to Naga City for the Feast of Black Nazarene which is now on its 25th year. A holy mass will held at 5:30 today at the Holy Cross Parish Church at Barangay Tabuco Naga City. After which the procession will start at the downtown area of Naga City.
