My ABC of Gratitude for Year 2010

Happy New Year Everyone!

I have lots of things to say for my year end post but in order to keep it short and easy to read (Plus I'm kind of lazy) I'll just post my A to Z of feelings of gratitude for year 2010.

A - for the ANGER that taught me how to be kind to others and to my self.
B - BAMBI our Mini Pin, a protector in our home. her sweetness is a stress reliever
C - my COLLEGE friends who are far yet near.
D - for letting me DRIVE safe all year round, everyday and everywhere.
E - for the ENERGY that I have especially whenever I need to be strong
F - my FAMILY who has been always there for me every second of my life
G - my GUIDANCE Center family for being my second family at work
H - my High School friends who never fail to remind me that I'm so lucky to have them
I -  my other "I" as my alter ego
J -  for the JOY in every simple thing that I'm seeing
K - KATHY for being home this December after four years.
L - LITZ friends for being my best guy buds
M - for the MANGO TANGO cake which was close to the Mango Bravo cake of Conti's
N - NCD supporters, I Love Naga!
O - the 'OTHERS' who I might have misunderstandings with, my apologies
P - PSYCHOMETRICIAN, my work now. I'm trying to live up to it.
Q - to the QUESTIONS that made me turn to God and be more close to Him
R - the first full RAINBOW that I saw last Dec. 23, 2010
S - SKYSCRAPER friends for the friendship and the effort in promoting our city and province
T - for all the TRAVELS that I had this year, both for business and pleasure.
U - for the UNDERSTANDING that I got from all the people around me
V - for the VICTORY of my endeavors during year 2010
W - my WONDERFUL students esp the Psychology students
X - the X Factor God given blessing that helped me in a lot of ways
Y - YOU who is reading this for being my friend
Z - the ZEAL of life GOD has given me

I treasure every thing that comes across my way. Some of them might be insignificant to others, like a small piece of paper might be a trash but very important to me. Spare my shallowness, for I find strength in those simple things around me. I do not have a resolution or a promise for year 2011. I only have an ABC for year 2011.

A - ACHIEVE God's plan for year 2011. With His light and stronger faith to Him, I'll find my way right.
B - the BEAUTY of life that God has offered me for the past 25 years, may it continue to flow together with humility
C - the CHANCE to wake up each day and continue to discover people's goodness no matter how different we are.

Let's once again journey 2011! Cheers and God bless!

I LOVE YOU ALL!

I Heart Yogurt Station Naga

Frozen Yogurt is now invading Naga. First there was Snofrid's Frozen Yogurt from Bigg's Diner and now here's I Heart Yogurt at SM City Naga. Yogurt, according to wiki, it is a dairy product produced by bacterial fermentation of milk. I developed this hatred for milk and I'm really not a fan. But I find it weird that I appreciate yogurts and when frozen yogurt came into the picture, it's now one of my comfort foods.

♥ Yogurt is located at the 2nd Level of SM City Naga near Ace Hardware. The serving sizes comes from Mini, Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large ranging from Php 35 to 65. Toppings will cost 10 each. You can have it plain Fro Yo or have combinations of toppings of your choice like crushed grahams, choco chips, marshmallows, raspberry syrup, kiwi, peaches, almonds, choco balls, strawberry chips, gummy bears, and a lot lot more.

Try this new Fro Yo in town! If you heart your life, you'll love I heart yogurt station.

Bigg's Diner Magsaysay

First day of December, after work, off we went to Magsaysay to try the newest branch of Bigg's at The Piazza. If the exterior design of the restaurant is cool and makes you curious, the interior is much more cooler than you have ever imagine. This is an exemption of "looking outside the box", with Bigg's Diner X (Magsaysay) a box-type design of restaurant just like of a radio-transistor (exterior design) that will make you tune in to, it's a must to "look inside the box".

CLICK HERE for photos of Bigg's Diner SM City Naga Branch
CLICK HERE for phtoos of Bigg's Diner Centro
CLICK HERE for photos of Bigg's Diner P. Burgos St. (CLOSED BRANCH)

Who would have thought that we were dining in a same old restaurant but would give us a different feeling and ambiance. It's the same old Bigg's, same menu on the board being offered but a with a twist of ambiance compared to Bigg's Advent, Bigg's Centro or Bigg's BMC Road for that matter.

Foods served hot, well presented that will surely delight your senses. The neighboring restaurants inside Piazza are Starbucks,Yellow Cab, Okuya, Soledad (A Fil Spanish Restaurant) and the newly transferred Gerry's Grill.

The display of old cameras and radio transistors are for the win. The Jukebox on the other hand really looks interesting, one of the crew said that it's still functional, only that it's for our eyes only.

Here's another bonus for frozen yogurt fans out there, Biggs' Snofrids Frozen Yogurt is also available at this branch. Now we have two branches serving the frozen Yogurt, Bigg's Centro and now Bigg's Magsaysay. So what are you looking at? Don't just look outside the box at the Piazza, visit Bigg's Diner Magsaysay and experience it yourself!

Humble Beginnings:

Dragon Fireworks Incorporated (DFI), was established in June 1992 and became the first fireworks manufacturing company duly licensed by the Philippine government to cater to the domestic market. It was established to meet the growing demand for "safe, quality fireworks".

Seeing the trend of fireworks elsewhere in the world, DFI shifted its focus from the traditional firecrackers and skyrockets to aerial pyrotechnic devices. In 1993, DFI expanded its manufacturing capacity by opening a new plant located 60 km. north of the capital city of Manila. Foreign technicians were asked to train the staff and teach new techniques and formulas.

The next year saw its decision bear fruit. New distributors joined the company and DFI became the first and only pyrotechnic company in the Philippines to have retail outlets inside the country's biggest nationwide chain of shopping malls (SM Supermalls). DFI's dealership network expanded at a rapid pace after this and is now considered the best fireworks distribution in the country.

Through the years, DFI has continuously striven to improve its products and to innovate new ones. From its modest initial product line, DFI now boasts of the widest array of consumer fireworks in the country. DFI also manufactures and sells display shells and shoots displays for those who want only the best. Apart from venturing into the manufacture and sale of party poppers, hand-held confetti devices, and indoor pyrotechnics, DFI is also able to provide a complete line of special effects such as the creation of fogs, snow, fire, bubbles, confetti blizzards and streamer blasts, as well as offering TEC DPSS laser projectors and choreographing music-synchronized laser shows for the most demanding multimedia applications.

DFI is very proud to say that it has production codes for all products and thus can trace a defective lot if need be. The strict adherence to product quality has been the driving force in establishing and maintaining Dragon Fireworks Inc. as the leading fireworks manufacturing company in the Philippines."

Picolé Healthy Ice Pops Naga

I was not around for the past few days. I was out of town because of an office related work / vacation carrying with me a lot of responsibilities, not just one but 14. I was with my 14 students and I accompanied them to attend the annual convention of Psychology students (PAPJA). For a while, I was like a mother hen with 14 chicks that I have to tend and look after. When I got back home after a tiresome trip, I remembered that there will be a store opening on that 28th of November. After being strict for 3 days "don't go there, stick around, have your dinner, enough swimming, take a bath, be quick, keep your voices down etc etc I now followed my senses as if I was a child looking for Popsicles to cool me down. And yes I was not frustrated, I looked for the Popsicle kart at SM City Naga with sky blue and white lights just near the food court and overlooking the activity center named Picolé Healthy Ice Pops, that is Step 1.

Okay now, STEP 2, like a child choose your flavor. The one that your taste buds is telling you to taste and cherish that cold icy pops on your mouth. If your a child, ask your parent/guardian to tell the guy in apron what you wish for. If your an adult, well, it's up to you to go for the one that your subconscious is telling you. (don't worry you won't get fat with this Popsicle)

On the side are the healthy facts that you can read on about the different choices that Picole is offering to us.

Now choose one...

Step 3. Have it the way you want it.. lick or as for me I always bite popsicles :D

Oh dear it's gone. You can now go back to STEP 1 just in case it's not enough for you.

This newest ice pop is for all ages. Diet conscious, healthy people and not so healthy people will all benefit with this icy pop. It can awaken our childish side at the same time we can enjoy a cold Popsicle without thinking of adding sugar into your system or getting you fat.

TRY IT NOW! PicOne Pic-OL! Picolé!
